AncestorSearch: Google Custom Search
Search for ancestors using this free Google Custom Search tool. This genealogy search engine uses Google search enhancements so that you're much more likely to find mentions of ancestors that are otherwise buried in thousands of Google search results. Works equally well for living peoplesearch.  Linked to by over 175 professional and amateur genealogy sites, this tool has received over 110,000 visits.

County Lines on Google Maps  Free tool shows county lines on Google Maps. It helps you quickly answer "What county is ... in?". This interactive county map replaces the need for county mapping software by incorporating a county overlay in Google Maps. Incorporates complete Google Maps county lines overlays covering all of the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Switzerland.

Historical U.S. County Boundary Maps  Free tool that lets you view Google Maps with historical county boundary lines. Why is this useful? Because county boundaries change over time. With this tool built on Google Maps, you can make sure you're looking in the right county for the place and historical years you're researching.  Optionally overlay research locations such as libraries, cemeteries and government offices.  Over 75,000 visits to this popular tool.

ZIP Codes on Google Maps  Free ZIP Code mapping tool that overlays ZIP Codes on Google Maps. Background: You can only view one ZIP Code at a time on Google Maps, so this interactive ZIP Code map tool was created so you can view multiple ZIP Code boundary maps on Google Maps anywhere in the US.

Historical World Political Boundary Maps  Free tool lets you view Google Maps with historical world political boundary lines.
